Freehold Township Day, A concert and festival in the park
Freehold Township Day started in 2002 with a band, a screen and one ride. Now in it's 9th year, the premier event draws a crowd of over 2,000. It's a free night for families to enjoy food, rides, fireworks and a concert. The pinnacle of the evening takes place when we honor a wounded veteran and present him or her with a check from the entire communities donations. The donations come from local businesses and private residents throughout Monmouth and Ocean County. The Veterans Community Alliance and the Freehold Township Committee work together to bring this event to life every year. As you look through the photos by clicking the link at the top of the page you will see a common theme, small town camaraderie and American spirit which is what this night is all about.
